COMPANIONSHIP CARE

Loneliness can affect anyone, but in the elderly it’s far too common.
Loneliness can actually impact both mental and physical health – playing a role in developing conditions such as Alzheimer’s.
Having a companion to chat to can really help alleviate feelings of loneliness – this is where companionship care comes in.

Our companionship services include:

  • Social interaction in the community

  • Support with using public transport and escorting on journeys

  • Respite for family CareGivers

  • Company whilst doing hobbies

  • Food preparation

  • Light housekeeping

  • Emotional support

  • Help with everyday tasks, like shopping for food or clothes

  • Being there as a friend to listen and talk to

  • Support on a day trip or even further afield

At Connect Care, we offer person-centred and engaging companionship and support. Ease the feeling of loneliness and share your time with a trusted, familiar and friendly face.
